As a instructor at Hope College I am asked to evaluate students in several ways. One way is through the use of student evaluations. I complete one for each student at the end of the practicum experience. This gives me a way to discuss with the student their strengths and weaknesses.
Also, during their practicum each student has to complete several nursing process worksheets (NPW). These are multiple pages and challenge the student to analysis and assess many aspects of their assigned patients.
